DESCRIPTION

The Village of De Waterkant is one of the most convenient locations in Cape Town for any traveller; be it business or pleasure. Situated at the slopes of Signal Hill, this old Slave's Quarters has kept most of its old-world charm while transforming into a modern village. Minutes away from the V&A Waterfront and the city centre, the narrow cobbled streets will invite you explore the quaint residential cottages, restaurants and designer boutique shops. The art galleries and street café‘s are part of the way of life in the Village. You will have easy access to all major freeways, the Atlantic beaches and it is also in walking distance to Cape Town International Convention Centre and the city centre. In the heart of this historical village you will find “the QUARTERS”, oneof the old cottages that have been turned into a modern haven for the weary traveller. The three quarters are cleverly linked with a spiralling staircase leading from one unit to another opening to the roof deck. This is a perfect place to enjoy the incredible views of the Mother City as the African sunset reflects against the mountain. Every unit accommodates two peopleand can be rented as individual entities or the entire Quarter could serve as larger accommodation for a family or individuals from the same company. We welcome a self-catering rental, or if a Bed and Breakfast option is required, we are happy to include a breakfast voucher for one of the many café's in the street. Air Conditioning and flat screen TV's in every unit, while the outside patio furniture on the roof deck is for everyone's use! The ground unit; or as we call it Q1 consist of a spacious living aria, open plan kitchen with a microwave and bar fridge. The bedroom has amplepacking space, two single or a King size bed – depending on your individual needs. Bathroom is en-suite with a shower. Q2 has a living room; a separate kitchen with a microwave and an oven/stove combination. The Bedroom has a queen Size bed, and the separate bathroom has a shower. Q3 is considered a very spacious studio apartment, with a glass partitioning between the living aria and the bedroom. A Separate kitchen and bathroom with a shower in the bath.
