Situated in the scenic Central Drakensberg we offer accommodation for one group of 5 - 23 guests in the privacy of our own game/cattle farm. Nestled at the foothills of mighty Spionkop Mountain, the cottages revel in thornveld countryside offering a peaceful getaway from the bustle of city life. Just 10 minutes off the main N3 the route is very accessible to groups meeting halfway between Gauteng and Durban and provides the ideal venue for family gatherings, get-togethers or a meeting place for groups of friends who wish to reconnect in private. Your booking will give you the entire establishment consisting of 3 stone and thatch cottages and a central entertainments area. The latter holds accommodation for 6 as well as the kitchen, lounge, fireplace and diningroom area. All opening onto a huge sundeck, fireplace, 3 beds downstairs, shower/toilet and 2 upstairs beds on mezzanine levels. To maintain the bushveld feeling lighting is solar and all appliances are gas. Abundant hot water is provided by a donkey boiler. The lodge is serviced by a brother and sister team, Bhecki and Juliette who make up the fireplaces, wash your dishes and make beds.Minimum bookings of 5 guests applies on Friday and Saturday nights. On long week-ends the minimum booking increases and all nights must be taken from Sunday to Thursday the minimum rate reduces to 4 adults or R660
