DESCRIPTIONThis wonderful, peaceful mountain retreat is situated in the Steenberg Mountains near Lydenburg, overlooking the Kwena Dam. Hundreds of birds frolic in the forest surrounding this retreat. It is here that you can simply sit around and discover yourself again, amongst shaded trees or around the campfire at night while the stars give their million dollar show free.- This self catering retreat sleeps 10-15 people
- There are 5 private log cabin rooms that sleep 2 – 3 people per room.

There are 5 tastefullydecorated bungalows built on stilts, each with a small verandah overlooking the lovely mountains and valley.
For hikers there is a hiking trail that runs along the river in the nearby forest. Some of the trees in the forest are very old and with their entangled branches and the lovely ferns surrounding them, they contribute to an atmosphere of tranquility.
An open-air boma is situated in the center of the 5 bungalows and is fenced in for protection against the wind and chill in the evenings while guests enjoy the flames of the fire and watching the stars above. Visiting the bush camp is definitely a worthwhile, unforgettable experience."
