DESCRIPTIONOYSTER COTTAGE is a self-catering timber home surrounded by Cape West Coast fynbos with beautiful sea and Table Mountain views.Oyster Cottage is situated on Grotto Bay's safe and secure Private Residential Estate Coastal Nature Reserve (500 hectare), which forms part of the greater Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve.
Grotto Bay offers visitors abundant fynbos, during spring the strandveld comes alive witha sea of colourful flowers, a vast and wonderful bird life, over 150 species, and a haven for duiker, steenbok and various other wild life species.All of the above can be spotted from Estate Homes or porches and the many hiking trails and paths, such as the proclaimed Black Oystercatcher Coastal Hiking trial.
Whale, seal and dolphin spotting, hiking, surfing, diving and fishing are some of the many activities to be enjoyed at Grotto Bay Beach and various rocky outcrops and coves.
