DESCRIPTIONMac Mac Forest Retreat is halfway between Sabie and Graskop. The house is a renovated forestry house and are self-catering with a stove, fridge, cutlery and crockery. The bedding is also supplied. Please bring your own towelsThere is no TV in the house, but on the premises is a small pub with DSTV. There are also no microwave oven in the house. All the houses have a fire place inside (except 3A) and braai facilities outside (also 3A).
There is a swimming pool on the premises.
Take a walk to the Mac Mac Pools and Forest Falls (both about 3 km from Mac Mac Forest Retreat) are also nice for hiking, swimming and picnics.
Mac Mac Forest Retreat is situated in a very central position and are
15km from Sabie,
14km from Graskop,
19km from Pilgrim's Rest,
about 50km from Blyde River Canyon,
and about 70km from the Kruger National Park.
There are camping sites at Mac Mac Forest Retreat and In De Diepte Hideaway (12 sites each). The sites have
electrical points and hot water ablutions. Please bring your own electrical extensions.
