Kedar offers guests various dining options. Paying tribute to South African history, the new Armoury Restaurant is decorated with portraits and weaponry from the Anglo-Boer war period, offering guests the perfect setting to enjoy traditional South African fare.
The Boma, with its unique entrance, is set amongst large indigenous trees with a central fire and a traditional outdoor cooking area.
The 1872 Restaurant, the Victorian style house Pieter Kruger built for his family during the late 1800's, offers Afrikaans and Cape Malay cuisine – open by arrangement.
Offering 8 versatile conference venues, Kedar promises a peaceful setting for business meetings, training or teambuilding exercises. The Boekenhout, Kruger, Molotlegi, and Kukama 1, 2&3 conference rooms cater for groups up to 150.The traditional Lekgotla (Chief's meeting room) provides boardroom facilities for up to 30 people.
President Paul Kruger's farm, Boekenhoutfontein, and the historic buildings on the land were declared a National Monument in 1971. Kedar acquired the property, in partnership with the PresidentKruger Trust and the land around the museum has been incorporated into Kedar's game farm. The main Kruger House is a museum showcasing a wide range of Kruger memorabilia and other items of historical interest.
