DESCRIPTION

Fusion is a truly unique property. Set up on the Camps Bay mountainside at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, it is surrounded by nature, and feels as though it is deep in the bush. In actual fact it is no more than two minutes drive from the central buzz of Camps Bay and less than ten to the Cape Town city centre. It commands phenomenal vistas, encompassing the Twelve Apostles, the Atlantic all the way around to Lions Head and even Robben Island. The incredible glass design takes full advantage of this, uniquely framing the wonderful views from every room. The meticulous design has given each room a unique feature. The master bedroom opens directly onto the enormous pool deck. You can roll out of bed and into the pool! It also has a large walk-in dresser.Bedroom One has a beautiful deck with stunning sea views, and an open glass shower that has to be seen to be believed. Bedroom Two opens onto a cool and tranquil rockery, planted with indigenous flora, which gives you a real sense of being on the mountain. The family room has a lounge and kitchenette attached, with two private decks to enjoy. It is a perfect base for the traveler who values peace, solitude and reflection, and yet still wants to benefit from the multitude of nearby attractions. The Camps Bay bars and restaurants are within 2 minutes drive, and it is even possible to walk down to the Bakoven beaches in less than ten minutes (although the walk up might take a little longer). The city centre is less than 10 minutes away and the world famous V&A waterfront is less than 15 minutes away. After enjoying all these, and the numerous other attractions in Cape Town, you can come back to the house and really unwind. The airy feel of the property, and wide glass windows and doors, lend themselves to the incredibly open views with very few buildings interfering. Fusion is an ideal basefor exploring the beautiful Table Mountain Nature Reserve. A path starts from the house and takes you directly to the contour path. From here you can enjoy either a gentle stroll taking in the panoramic views, and unique Cape vegetation, or otherwise take one of the more strenuous routes up on to the top of Table Mountain. Walk back to the property, and dive into the large, deep pool, which in keeping with its surroundings is reminiscent of a cool, shaded mountain rock pool. Otherwise simply lie on the deck and contemplate life as you watch the changing moods of the ocean. This is the perfect place to relax. This property is also ideally suited to film production companies, especially shoot and stay. The house is owned by a professional photographer, and a huge amount of time and effort has gone into the design and construction of the building to maximise the potential of these breathtaking views.
