Highly recommended and one of Fraai Uitzicht 1798 most indulgent experiences is The Fine Wine and Dine Menu, a seven-course set menu, with specially selected wines to accompany each course. The menu also includes coffee and Brandy.
HISTORIC WINE CELLAR
Visit the historic wine cellar, one of the oldest in the valley, and see the original woodwork and handcrafted beams. In this ancient atmosphere the handcrafted Merlot is produced as a joy of life.
Three vintages are available from this historic wine cellar, Merlot 2000, Merlot 2001&2002. The release of Merlot 2003 is planned for early 2006, whilst the Merlot 2005 is maturing in new French and American barrels.
