We also offer a bed&breakfast Rondavel that can accommodate 2 adults. Includes full breakfast.We are situated on a peninsula in a dammed section of the Vaal river, also known as the Vaal Barrage. The peninsula has the Loch on the one side, and the Vaal River on the other. Cruise-N-Snooze houseboats, based at 37 Windsor on Vaal, is on the Vaal River side of the peninsula.
The fully equipped luxury houseboats (Rates starting from R850 per night) sleeps 4 people, and are moored in a private lagoon, separated from the main river by an 30mx20m island. Across from this private island stretches a 500m wide part of the Vaal River with Bird Island in between the banks.
From here there is approximately 55km of navigable waters (including the Loch and other tributaries), to be explored at your leisure. Before departing on your cruise, we teach you how to operate the houseboat and all the equipment on board.
On board activities include fishing, bird watching, swimming, or just relaxing under the sun or starry skies. Places of interest on the riverbank include restaurants, bars, family entertainment venues, a casino, golf courses, spas, etc.
We have a Beauty Salon at the point of departure which offers massages, facials, reflexology, waxing etc.
