The farm is situated approximately 30 kilometers from Uniondale, South Africa in the direction of Willowmore and the Baviaanskloof a declared world heritage site.On the farm guests can hike the numerous farm trails. San rock art, also known as Bushman paintings can be found. Apart from the known sites hikers might even discover new sites The farm also offers the 4x4 and 4x2 drivers as well as mountain bikers the opportunity to use their vehicles for the purpose for which they were manufactured. The farm tracks are ideal for this purpose and guests will be rewarded by breathtaking Klein Karoo scenery along the way. Various types of game might be encountered whilst hiking and or driving and bird watchers will be rewarded for their patience at various locations on the farm. A number of blue cranes have made the yard their home and visitors have ample opportunity to study these amazing birds from up close Guests can also take part in the farming activities on the farm and especially the children will enjoy watching the day to day operation of the farm. The ostrich farming process including incubation and hatching can be seen in the daily life of the farm. Accommodation is in the farm homestead in three family bedrooms each with a double bed, a single bed and a cot. Your hostess Elmarene will ensure that your stay is comfortable and, since she offers a fully catered for vacation with traditional farm meals, even the mothers will have time to relax. There is also a self catering option in a separate, fully equipped, four bed roomed house which can sleep 13 people.
