DESCRIPTIONThis luxury self-catering house is situated in the small village of Scarborough on the Atlantic Sea Board, 35 minutes drive outside of Cape Town. Scarborough is a conservation village surrounded by mountains and sea and bordered by the Cape Point Nature Reserve to the south. Within short waking distance of the village are some of the Capes most beautiful beaches. Located close to the tourist sites of Cape Point and the Penguins at Boulders, the village provides an excellent base to explore the natural beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Table Mountain, the Waterfront and the Winelands are within close driving distance. There are two good restaurants in the village and many more excellent restaurants a short drive away in the quaint seaside towns of Simons Town, Kalk Bay and Kommetjie. There is a comprehensive shopping complex with Cinemas at Long Beach, Sun Valley 15 minutes drive away. Other activities available in the area are surfing, kite-surfing, scuba-diving, golf, tennis, mountain biking, horse and camel riding, cycling, fishing and sailingThe house is uniquely positioned bordering a mountain and a nature reserve and is a short walk (800 meters) from Scarborough beach. It has expansive sea views from every room and large wrap-around deck for outdoor entertainment. Scarborough has no street lights which accentuates the beautiful night skies. In the months of September through to December whales can be seen in the bay from the deck.
With 3 en-suite bedrooms, a large 10 seater dining room table, the house can comfortably accommodate 6 adults. All the bedrooms and bathroom are luxuriously furnished. The main bedroom is somethingspecial with reeded ceilings and spectacular views over the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with Rosieres gas hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine and double-door fridge. Other features include TV (with DVD), a built in fire place and out-door hot shower. The house is serviced twice weekly. Daily servicing can be arranged - just let us know your requirements in advance.
