DESCRIPTIONAlbourne is a charming TGCSA 4-Star Cape Dutch style residence set in large landscaped gardens close to Erinvale Golf Course where guests can enjoy our memberships and play with a reduction on the greenfees.Albourne is ideally situated in Somerset West on the road to the historic Vergelegen Wine Estate and Helderberg Nature Reserve; 20 min. from the airport and a good half hour from Cape Town.Albourne is run by Dutch owners, Joop and Trudy Weterings, who put a great accent on service to our visitors.
We have 7 comfortable edrooms, all en-suite and 10 spacious garden units, which are semi self-catering, all with private patios. Breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the swimmingpool with lovely mountain views. All rooms have coffee and tea facilities and the garden rooms TV and a safe. We offer secure parking for our guests.
Many excellent golf courses are nearby. The already mentioned international Gary Player designed Erinvale Golf Course is only 2 km up the road. Ourguests can also play at Erinvale in high season, when it is closed for visitors.
We are happy to arrange all your golf bookings on the numerous other courses in the area. Tours and tourguides can be arranged as well as car hire against competitive prices. Your hosts will be delighted in helping you with your choice for the excellent restaurants, wineries and with all your other requests as German, Dutch, French and Spanish are spoken as well as the language of true hospitality.
