Acacia Bush Lodge (previously called Torwood) is a 26-bed bush camp about 10 minutes from central Pietermaritzburg and the Liberty Mall. Comfortable accommodation is offered in six, three-bedded and two, four-bedded air-conditioned cottages. Each is fully equipped with high-quality appliances including stove, microwave, fridge and a full range of quality cooking utensils and crockery. All linen is provided – bring only your food. On the TV SABC and Mnet is offered.
Each cottage also has a private veranda and its own braai facilities, or picnic in the shade around our unique rock swimming pool.

The lodge is owned by Andrew St.Pierre and Gwynn White. Andrew is also a bit of a personality, albeit only in the world of 4x4s. He is probably South Africa's most well respected and recognisable 4x4 guru, having written 13 books on the subject that are sold all over the world and he has recently hosted his own TV show on the subject.
