On the slopes of Signal Hill this fashionable and historic Bo-Kaap area "De Waterkant Village" dates back to the late 1700's. The name "Waterkant" originates from the Dutch word meaning "waters edge". Today this bohemian village and National Preservation site is one of Cape Town's oldest and most attractive residential areas popular with local and international visitors. The Village Lodge is at the centre of thevillage and ideally positioned within easy walking distance of the city centre, Victoria&Alfred Waterfront and the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The area also boasts a good selection of highly recommended restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars, clubs, deli's and designer shops. Hire Car companies are also within easy walking distance. This traditional styled townhouse has two ensuite bedrooms and is positioned adjacent to the main lodge in Napier Street. It is fully airconditioned and can be booked on an individual room basiswith a shared lounge and dining area or as a whole townhouse. It has a large roof deck with wonderful views of Table mountain. Guests can use the roof top pool/bar at the main Lodge and breakfast is inclusive in the rate.
