The Union Buildings and many embassies and consulates are also in Arcadia. Arcadia is near Loftus Versfeld a big sporting stadion where many of the important international rugby and soccer games are played. 606 on Top is walking distance from Loftus. Behind loftus you find Tukkies which are in Hatfield. Hatfield is the student mecca of Tshwane where the University of Pretoria is. Hatfield is about 3 kms away from 606.The penthouse is in a well maintained and clean apartment building called Norcadia. The apartment is newly renovated with a modern kitchen three big bedrooms a lounge and two bathrooms. One of the rooms is on suite and has a beautiful view of the Union Buildings from your bed. This on suite room also has a small balcony with furniture to sit on and relax. If you are a businessman who needs to work there is also a small desk to work on while having a beautiful view over the city.
Upstairs is a huge open patio on the roof of the building. Here you have a jacussi, braai, small bar and an awesome view of the whole of Tshwane. The view is unobstructed and 270º wide. You can see everything from the top, Freedom park, Voortrekker monument, TUT, Unionbuildings, Loftus versfeld, University of Pretoria Unisa and much much more! The patio on top allows you to enjoy the excellent climate of South Africa. It is always sunny and warm, even in winter the patio soak up the afternoon sun to radiate its warmth in the evening to help you enjoy a sundowner.
The security in the building is very strict. Entrance is through a security gate with a remote control device. Entrance through the pedestrian gate is with registered tag. Two parking spaces are available one is a lock up garage and the other is a carport with corrugated iron roof.
The apartment is serviced daily and linen will be changed on a weekly basis.
There is public transport available and the bus stop is just in front of thebuilding. The Bus will take you directly to church square where you will see beautiful old buildings and here you can feel and experience South Africa with many small shops and interesting places.
The OR Tambo airport is 45 kms away. There is shuttle services as well and moving around won't be aproblem. The Hatfield Plaza is nearby for a shopping experience and just one block up the street is the Eastwood centre. Here you will find the best coffee shops in the area. Harries pancakes and Café 41 just to name a few is in the centre. Just ask the personnel of the US embassy they meet theredaily.
